Requirements to Become a Rhode Island Home Inspector
- Rhode Island home inspector education hours: No education required
- Inspections: Provide one hundred (100) home inspections
- Exam Required: PSI
- Application Fee: $200 (other fees may apply)
- Insurance Requirements: Certificate of General Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of $500,000, naming RICRLB as the certificate holder and a Certificate of Errors and Omissions Insurance with a minimum coverage of $500,000, naming RICRLB as the certificate holder.
- Notarized application is not required
- High School Diploma or GED is required
Home Inspection License Expiration: Every two years
Rhode Island Home Inspector Continuing
Education Requirements
- 12 hours every two years
