Utah Home Inspector License Requirements

Requirements to Become a Utah Home Inspector

  • Insurance Requirements: Current liability insurance and errors and omissions (E&O) insurance, each with a minimum coverage amount of $500,000, naming the Division as the certificate holder; and
  • Other: Current certification from one or more of the following organizations:
    • – American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI)
    • – International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI)
    • – International Code Council (ICC) as a Residential Combination Inspector

  • No continuing education is currently required
