Governing Body: Board of Home Inspection Registration

On or after January 1, 2010 individuals performing home inspections must be registered with the board. 

Qualifications for registration:

• Be 18 or older
• Successfully completed high school or have been engaged in the practice on the effective date of the act
• General liability insurance not less than $100,000 and $10,000 E&O
• Pass exam approved by board
• Pass 80 hours of approved education
  OR
  2 years experience and have completed at least 50 paid inspection
