Illinois Continuing Education Requirements

State of IL licensed Home Inspectors are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education per year.  Home Inspectors are required to renew their licenses every two years for a total of 12 hours needed for renewal.  6 hours in Mandatory Education and 6 in Elective. Home inspector licenses expire on November 30, of Even years.  In order to receive continuing education credits, all exams must be proctored.
