Arkansas Continuing Education Requirements

The State of Arkansas requires inspectors to obtain 14 hours of continuing education during the year preceding license expiration.  For example:

2008 renewals will need to obtain CE Nov, 2006 – Oct, 2007 

2009 renewals will need to obtain CE Nov, 2007 – Oct, 2008

2010 renewals will need to obtain CE Nov, 2008 – Oct, 2009 

Only four (4) hours of continuing education can be earned through on-line or correspondence courses.  Ten (10) hours of continuing education can be carried over to the next year. 

All license renewal applications must be submitted by December 31st each year.
