CLASSROOM TRAINING
Module One: 3-Days 25 hours
This module will give students the knowledge to effectively inspect and report on roofing, exterior and structure components.
Module Two: 3-Days 25 hours
This module will focus on how to inspect and report on interiors, insulation, ventilation and electrical systems.
Module Three: 3-Days 25 hours
This module will prepare students to inspect and report on heating, cooling and plumbing systems.
Module Four: 3-Days 25 Hours
This Module will go over licensing laws and regulations, a thorough profession overview, communication and report writing skills. The home inspector is required to both verbally and in writing describe the inspection process and their findings.
LAB & FIELD TRAINING
Module Five: 5-Days 40 Hours
The Lab & Field Training gives students hands-on experience inspecting actual homes. The students will be inspecting local area properties and writing a complete home inspection report on each property inspected. The goal is to teach inspection methodologies, report writing techniques and to build confidence when out in the field. All inspections will be scheduled and logged by the instructor until the student reaches 40 hours of training. |
